Biography

Jochen Bick studied bioinformatics at Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena. He completed his diploma thesis about mapping non-coding RNAs in bacteria, at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology e.V. - Hans-Knoell-Institute, Jena. Afterwords he achieved a temporary contract as a research associate supervised by Prof. Saluz and Dr. Schöfl of the Cell and Molecular department of the Hans-Knoell-Institute. Since September 2013 he started a PhD at the ETH Zurich in the Animal Physiology group.
